So it’s been a while since I’ve posted any updates or created new methods. I don’t play wow nearly as much anymore but from what I can tell, it’s easier than ever to make gold, as I knew it would be. You just need to input the right values, such as netherweave cloth and scan twice a day on the AH for price floors and ceilings. Once you do that for a few days, your addon will generate a nice graph of the high’s and low’s. The main money is made on weekly maintenance days where everyone has new gear they want to enchant. My product focused heavily on this trick because I knew demand would skyrocket and liquidity for my auction commodities was very high. It was not uncommon for me to make 4-5k gold per 1 hour auction house scan back in Cataclysm. If I were in huge need of gold, I would spend more hours to generate more gold. I like doing things that grant the most reward for the least effort, probably a bad habit I should stop =).

Since it’s an addon, it obviously needs to pass Blizzard’s little legal/no-hack safety check or whatever it is they call it. These vendors make the addon “legal” by allowing you to download them for free but that you pay for the “content and data”. Also, due to the nature of the auction house that anyone can use, this method of gold making can be used by literally anyone with the right knowledge.

The auction house module is where you will make the bulk of your wow gold. I use to utilize multiple addons such as Postal, Auctioneer, and Marketwatcher to create my auction house fortune system (Which is what I charged $57 for). This guy’s addon combines all that for you into one easy and simplified addon, something that is better than my own product. The farming module is kinda neat. It’s just an in-game waypoint system that just shows you where to go exactly and what to expect. Personally I do not like farming but it can be fun to do for 10-30 minutes to get some quick cash. This module minimizes the time you spend farming while maximizing your item and gold/silver gains. This module literally takes you by the hand and does all the leading for you; you just follow and do it, then collect the booty!

The crafting module is my favorite. I always made the most money from jewelcrafting, tailoring, and enchanting. I usually pair up enchanting and tailoring since they go hand-in-hand with each other but some of my alts also took jewelcrafting and enchanting. My favorite was to scan a specific category of items for enchantment and disenchant and then resell the dusts/essences or finished items for a big profit on the auction house. This little loophole is not a very well known secret and I’m glad X-elerated figured it out. If for some reason you don’t get it, don’t worry, when you buy his guide, you’re also getting my product free so I explain this loophole in-depth in my video series. Clearly you will need enchanting to take advantage of this but tailoring would be good to take too so that you can make some netherweave bags for resale during your disenchant runs.

The gathering module is pretty neat. It’s a commodities analyst and gathering module rolled into one. It will scan your server’s faction auction house for the most valuable commodities at that moment and then you can tell it to show you where to farm that said item in the quickest way possible. Copper ore routes, adamantium ore, Obsidian ore, or in Mists Of Pandaria, ghost iron ore, etc, are displayed. I obviously have a bias towards mining but if you’re into making potions and gathering herbs, this module has you covered. Once you’ve selected what items you want to gather, the in-game addon just shows you the route you need to take. What I like is that the route is different from what’s published online so you should run into much less competition for the nodes.

The shopping cart module is not necessary but it does replace an old addon I use to use for my “quicklist” of items to scan. X-elerated does a good job of taking successful auction-house masters like me or you and making them more successful by reducing the amount of time wasted organizing our profitable item scan lists. This shortlist module lists all the items you want to place into the shopping cart and with a few shift-clicks will scan and display for you prices and analyses for you to decide to buy and sell the same item, saving you a lot of time when running the “full scan” options. When you buy X-elerated’s guide, my product will contain the list of all the 120+ commodities I’ve used to make money from the auction house. Combine that list with X-elerated’s bigger list and you will have way too much gold to spend.
